A Journey of Subtraction

Let parts of yourself fall away, like leaves. In cycles we work, let your natural autumnal energies release all that stands between you and your destiny. Becoming Love incarnate requires the facing of fears, otherwise known to be thoughts, illusions, moments imprinted from time and space that told you a lie that you’re still firmly believing. To become freedom, walk out of your cage and stay out, stop believing anything your mind tells you, come to sit in the moment, and in reality dwell…

A Journey of Subtraction, is a collection of poetry and prose destined to journey you inwards towards the depths and layers of self (find a selection here, in the Poetry Library). If you are lucky, these words point you through any residing illusionary thought and towards a discovery of what you truly and really are – that which we all seek, love… and inner peace. Peace can only be there once you have walked a journey through that which disturbs your stillness… words, mind noise, imagery and sound, all play around you constantly, and have programmed this ‘you’, which exists beyond reasonable logic and thought.

Subtraction, points you inwards, towards who you are beneath those layers and collections of noise and energy, and when you come to discover your true self, you find only one thing remains – eternity speaking… since the noise never stops, but in a best-case scenario, it will CHANGE, but to make it through, you’re going to want to walk with a whole bunch of faith bundled within you, which is why, A Journey of Subtraction, pairs wonderfully with, Faith, In Stories That Change.

Reflections after reading, A Journey of Subtraction…

“I found these words to be powerfully healing. It’s funny what reading is able to do… effortlessly heal something within me, but hey, I guess that is all a part of the magic of her work.”

Clare Vacca, Madrid, Spain.
A mother of two.

“I am grateful to Ana Maria for making these words work for us all. I am not a great lover of the written word, especially poetry, but this was easy to follow and didn’t take time to feel my way into…”

Harry Williams, London, UK.
Dyslexic and in need of some hope.

“There is always a reason for me ending up in certain places, and the same must be said for ending up here with the words of Ana Maria. This was everything that I needed to hear. Had it not been for the right words at the right time, who knows where I’d be.”

Phillip Timmons, Northampton, United Kingdom.
Loner, self-seeker, moment-liver.

“Thank you for the poetry, is what I’d like to say. Thank you to Ana Maria for writing these words from the divine. I know that’s what they are, since the feeling will speak the truth.”

Lisa Rochefort, Paris, France.
Psychologist, life-long learner.

To seek is to find, what?

“There’s a story we cling to, looking upwards wins nothing but answers to imaginary questions… when all you’re needing is to direct your attentions inwards… to ultimately find that reality is not what you think it was, or is… to find that time, space and memory are one, to find that you are already dead, maybe you weren’t even alive…

Look to your perfect mirror, that of the natural world, to see yourself with clarity, and perhaps clearly, for the very first time. Nature mirrors our majesty; nature calls to your innate design and desires; nature is who and what you are, and what is the natural world, but a miraculous make-up of energy, make-shifting through time and reality, shaped into worlds imagined by our ancestors, who lived very differently to our present civilisations?

In our medley of stories, can we find our passage to the continuous one, towards the unchanging, yet forever altering, weaving patterns of life and creation? Might we place faith in our changing stories, and allow the shadows left over from days gone past to be buried into the ether, instead of entrenched within our body-minds?

Might we subtract enough of ourselves, to find the light was always there, connecting us, only it was buried beneath a whole heap of garbage: war, conflict, destruction, egoic mania – where does it end? Peace can become a reality when the world owns its garbage and chooses to throw it away, forever… it takes courage, diligent quests towards honesty and truth, and love, a whole heap of that too!

Come journey with me, and walk alone, towards that world of TOGETHER, which we all yearn to create!

With love, Ana Maria.”

“We all stand alone in this lifetime on the earth, only God knows the truth of us… all we have is the faith to carry on and keep taking the next step placed in front of us. Sometimes, staying on the path requires a little light shined upon it… A Journey of Subtraction will aid you as you walk into yourself!”

– Ana Maria Santuario, 2021.

The Eye of The Storm

Life takes you ever closer to your inwards eye, the centre of your storms. Storms churn you inwards, winds thrash at illusionary thought, and rains sweep away in their torrents all that never belonged at your centre, never sat within your centre, for this secret space is your haven, the circular opening wherein infinity lay… And the whirls of colour, motion, and changing scenery and weather, why, they are but your mirror, reflecting back the nothing, and everything, that you always were and forever will be – time making magic, space exploring space, energy masquerading in the form that it shapes itself into. Life living itself as it wills itself to… letting go of the illusion is the way towards faith, peace, harmony and love. Might we pray for clearer weather, and that when the storms settle, and the differences between our ‘selves’ which cloak the soul, this light, this angel sat within our chest, let us pray that this will be the day to unite us in hope for a better, sunnier, and clearer future. The New Age is arriving, time wills it so, and just like the rest of the universe, it does as it will… Time will save the world, not the human race.

“To find your true voice and passion, you must first SUBTRACT the one this world of lies and manipulation gave you. Your suffering, perpetuated constantly by a world that knows very well how to do such a thing, is carefully constructed from birth with a fear-mongering approach. When you choose love, you choose to let go, when you choose peace, you watch and stop reacting, when you find harmony – you have made it home!”

– Ana Maria Santuario, 2021.

Namaste.
