Ashes to Ashes, Love to Dust

I know nothing of what this is,
This feeling in my heart,
An opening vibration,
Whispers of a fresh start.

Love born for another,
Reveals a healing key,
To love myself completely,
To flow and simply be.

No answer lies in the external,
There is no completion to be made,
In love I watch the magic unfold,
As fear continues to fade.

The internal fire accelerates,
Lapping fiercely at all impure,
All shadows there obscuring the light,
To be dispelled forevermore.

In love I am burned to ash,
In love I become but dust,
In love I am reborn,
In love I choose to trust.

(Dedicated to Jed McKenna, aka Ken McMordie, who titled this poem for me – Rest in Peace dear friend, guide and truth teller).
