Coming Home

I feel it in my heart,
The love that lies within,
And when you find this place,
Your true voice is free to sing.

To be free of your inner critic,
Of the shame that keeps you small,
You feel yourself expanding,
Hell, you feel ten feet tall.

To accept who you are,
Is a gift that can’t be told,
To come to peace with your story,
It’s a treasure to behold.

And when you see yourself,
When you really truly see,
A beautiful happening occurs,
As you become who you were meant to be.

Light and laughter fill your world.
And whether you’re alone,
Or surrounded by other people,
You know you’re always home.
