Home At Last…

I love my countries…
Intertwined by messy, fascinating histories,
My blood is in these soils.
Tears washed clean all pain,
Yet here it sits,
The suffering of my kinsman,
In words unspoken.
In song alone.
In the music of whispering warriors,
My fathers, their mothers,
My country people.
My home.

This collection will lay in wait for a good decade or more before publishing. Perfect timing is everything, so is good editing.

Auld Lang Zine…

The above poem was written while listening to Auld Lang Zine at 7:01am on 25th October 2024, while editing the bullets that would become the posters, the words that would become our armour, while translating the silent suffering that would become our testament to human strength and endurance.
