Others may not see the majesty of you,
But I do,
Can you let that be enough?

The pain that sits there,
Let it in,
It is the pain in the way of loving yourself,
Of being truly compassionate with yourself.
You are not perfect,
But the perfection
is in your imperfection.
We are each made up of light and dark,

But to unleash it you must first
accept your dark.
Can you let it be there?

But rather than be the warrior

Can you move into gentleness

As you would with another living with pain and trauma?
That which you extend to others,
Can you finally extend it to yourself?
Release the numbness of your own pain?
Stop burying it and just let it be there?
It is a part of you, don’t fight it, don’t resist it,
For then it will lose its power
and you will find the flow,
You will learn to simply be with it all.
This is all there is to do,
Be with everything that arises.
Eventually the purge will end,
There’s just a little more my darling girl.
Be brave as I know you are.
Further, embrace it and go further.
This is the fear that binds you at your core,
It’s time to let it go.
