1. RETURNS & REFUNDS
We currently use a Print-On-Demand (POD) service to fulfil book orders, meaning your book will only be printed once you order it. The third-party printers do accept returns, only to destroy the books unless we buy them back from them, which, being a very small start-up, could put us out of business before we even begin. Therefore, we do not currently accept returns or offer refunds for any products. All types of goods are exempt from being returned, including, but not limited to:
- Paperback, hardback, ebook, or large text edition books.
- All downloadable software products, including audio, video, PDF and other digital downloads.
- Any donations made via the site to The Ana Maria Foundation.
- Any payment made via the site into The Honesty Box.
- Damaged or used goods.
- Third -party purchases from other websites.
2. DAMAGED PRODUCTS
The POD service provider is accountable for printing errors, but not damage in transit, they do offer insurance, but it is costed at a rather high price so we chose not to offer this as an option at this time. Should there be a major issue with the book, such as missing pages, or an utterly misaligned front cover, please send photographs and a cover letter to us and we will try our best to mediate with the printers and get a replacement book sent out to you. The outcome of such a request will be left to the discretion of our third-party printers, so we cannot assure you of an outcome at this time.
