Moving the body can be the best choice you make every single day. Should you be in a state of lethargy, exhaustion, or simply be ‘stuck’ somehow, my best advice is to start really slowly, with your shoulders, neck, wrist joints and ankles. Sometimes moving releases pain and that can be why you intuitively stop incorporating beautiful movement work into your days – because you’re avoiding the release of an emotion or trauma. Take your time, you deserve to reclaim movement and enjoy it as a fundamental part of life, longevity and good health.
These videos are a step up from basic recovery movement work found on these playlists: Chair Movement Work, Qi Gong, Yoga Practice. If they are too hard, we advise you to return to what is comfortable for the time being and you can have another go in a few weeks or months.
