Meridian Tapping Techniques (MTT) are also referred to as the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), or simply, ‘tapping’. The practice combines the ancient wisdom of Chinese Acupuncture with modern psychology and trauma-body awareness. As you tap on your meridian points, or acupressure points, you relieve stress, tension and emotional baggage. You allow energy to flow and be released. Consider tapping as acupuncture without the needles, although, nothing will beat laying with needles directly in the points. That being said, this costs nothing, can be done at any time, and is a great resilience building tool to keep in the back pocket of your mind.
